Celebrity chef Vikas Khanna to launch his new restaurant 'Bungalow' in New York next month

Celebrity chef Vikas Khanna will launch his new restaurant in New York next month.

The restaurant named 'Bungalow' will open its doors on March 23.

"Bungalow New York Opening on Mar 23, 2024," he posted on Instagram.

He said the restaurant is a tribute to his late sister Radhika Khanna who would have turned 50 on March 23, 2024.

"50 DAYS from today on March 23rd, would have been my beloved sister Radhika’s 50th Birthday.We open Bungalow on the auspicious day as a tribute to her life and also to honor millions of kitchens, chefs, cook book writers, street vendors, home cooks across India —and most importantly to our MOTHERS who have nurtured our souls forever," he said.

Radhika Khanna reportedly passed away in 2022 due to multi-organ failure.

She was 48.

As per the official website of the restaurant, it is a premier New York restaurant & cocktail bar to showcase the fare of this nostalgic era.

Who is Vikas Khanna?

Khanna is an Indian chef, restaurateur, cookbook writer, filmmaker and humanitarian.

He has been one of the judges of MasterChef India since its beginning.
