Kolkata, Jan 5 (IBNS): Ready to loosen your purse strings for some shopping at the start of the New Year and support women empowerment?

Then don't miss the 'Kolkata Kettle' exhibition being organised by the Rotary Club Midtown on January 12 and 13.

According to the organizers, some of the leading designers and artists of Kolkata will showcase their products at this exhibition cum sale.

Popular brands such as Label Harshitaa, Rebanta Dasgupta, ENBBE by Niddhi and Bikash, Taj Shawls, Organic Burst, Sari ki Almari, Karomi and others will showcase their collection here.

In addition to this, there will be seminars/workshops/installations from the craft, fashion and lifestyle industry.

One of the workshops will be on ‘Mata ni Pachedi’, an art form of Gujarat and another about natural dyes by Vishwabharati designers.

There will be a presentation on Appliqué work by Master Craftsman, Kartik Chauhan.

A creative competition ‘Couture Craft’ will be organized too.

On the second day of the exhibition, there will be a panel discussion by leading designers and models, such as
Bibi Russell, Nayanika Chatterjee, Vivek Kumar, Amalraj Sengupta, Rimi Nayak  and others.
