Monkey Bar Kolkata ready to take the heat off this summer with Mango Unchained

Kolkata, Apr 26 (IBNS): With the mango season upon us, the Monkey Bar is holding a special festival until May 27, called 'Mango Unchained'.

The festival is being held simultaneously across its outlets in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata.

One of the highlights of the Mango Unchained menu are the mango-based cocktails and mocktails. 

Images: Priya Kane and Sanjay RamchandranImages: Priya Kane and Sanjay RamchandranM Passion, made with Old Monk, mango juice, passion fruit and a dash of bitters; Mango-Rita, a creamy, frozen cocktail with tequila, fresh mango and fresh kiwi rimmed with powdered chili; chilled Mango Mule made with vodka, fresh mango puree, fresh sweet line juice topped with fizzy ginger ale; Mango-Colada with Bacardi, mango puree, pineapple juice and coconut cream.

You may also go for the sweet Mango Chaas made with mango juice, fresh curd, chaas masala, coriander and mint.  And then there is a Monkey Nutella Shake too, made with fresh mango, Nutella and chocolate, whisked in a blender with chilled milk.

Then there are the all-time mango-based favourites such as the Mango Lassi Kulfi, and the Mango Falooda Ice-cream Sandwich made of fresh mango ice-cream teamed with rose syrup soaked falooda, mango jelly and tutti fruit.

For a hint of the exotic, there is the Mexico-inspired Mango Tres Leche with coconut milk soaked vanilla cake, mango cream, mango curd, finally garnished with fresh mangoes.
