Kolkata April 5 (IBNS): Join The Salt House at their rooftop address to usher in the Bengali New Year in Kolkata with a special spread that breaks away from the regular.

In keeping with their trendy image, they are introducing a special spread that is not typically Bengali but weaves in select elements of the cuisine.

Menu highlights include Zuchinni Noodles, Toasted Almonds, Herb Oil, Basil Fettuccine in Lebu and Mascarpone Cream, Chaana'r Steak, Veggie Stroganoff, Sun-dried Tomato Pesto, Edamame, Pistachio & Five-Rice Risotto --  each pegged at Rs 525; Chingri Agnolotti, Baby Laal & Kolmi Spinach, Coriander Pesto (Rs 625), Chicken a la Truffle-Kiev & Peyaz Kuli Maach (Rs 675) and Bhetki & Spring Veggie Roulade, Sauteed Oyster Mushrooms, Dill & Green Pepper Veloute (Rs 725).

Round off with Aam Salaam Iced Tea (Rs 150), Malpoa Funnel Cakes, Maple Syrup, Pistachio Ice-Cream (Rs 375), Carrot & Citrus Fondant with Cream Cheese Ice Cream,  Mango & Coconut Panna Cotta or Lebu Cheesecake - the last three priced at Rs 425 each).
