Dubai school inducted into Britannica President’s Club

New Delhi, Apr 21 (IBNS): Global digital media company with products that promote knowledge and learning Encyclopaedia Britannica recently inducted the Indian High School, Dubai in the Britannica President’s Club for South Asia.
The school was selected to receive the award for using digital content in its learning programs.
 
Through the President’s Club, Encyclopaedia Britannica aims to encourage innovation in schools, to promote teaching with technology, and to improve learning outcomes. 
 
The club will encourage teachers to share best practices in teaching methodologies. 
 
Jorge Cauz, President, Encyclopaedia Britannica, Inc., said, “The innovative ways in which Indian High School has integrated Britannica digital learning resources and others into its syllabus and co-curricular learning are exemplary. They exemplify how schools worldwide are finding new technology solutions beneficial in improving the quality of education."
 
Cauz said, "Britannica is proud to have had our products be part of this. It gives me great pleasure to present the Excellence Award 2014 to the Indian High School for their efforts in providing the best mix of digital resources and regular curriculum teaching methods."
 
Sarvesh Shrivastava, Managing Director, Britannica South Asia said, “Our desire to provide the best possible opportunity to children brought the Indian High School, Dubai and Britannica together. This Excellence Award reflects the efforts of Ashok Kumar Tangri to build an educational institution that caters to the needs of children and makes them better citizens capable of achieving their dreams."
