Pallekele, Aug 12 (IBNS): Indian captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first in the third and final test match against Sri Lanka which began on Saturday.

Sri Lanka made a number of changes due to injury issues.

Lakshan Sandakan, Kumara and Fernando replaced Rangana Herath, Nuwan Pradeep and Dhananjaya de Silva in the Sri Lankan team for the final test match.
