New Delhi, June 21 (IBNS): Cricket commentator and expert, Harsha Bhogle, lauded Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan for buying his third team in any T20 league, and termed as Indian sports multinational.

Khan greeted his comment with a note of thanks.

Bhogle said on Twitter, "So we now have an Indian sports multinational? Following up @KKRiders with @TKRiders and now Capetown Knight Riders! @iamsrk @VenkyMysore."

The Bollywood actor has recently bought the team of Cape Town in the T20 Global League, launched by South Africa. He named it as Cape Town Knight Riders. He is also the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders in Indian Premier League and  Trinbago Knight Riders in Caribbean Premier League.

Khan himself informed his followers on Twitter, few days back.

He mentioned, "Extremely happy & proud to be part of Global League. Will try our best to make Cape Town & Newlands proud of us."

The T20 global league will begin in November this year. It is considered as a tough competitor to the major T20 leagues like IPL and Big Bash in Australia.

South African player JP Duminy has been assigned as the marquee player of the league.
