Kolkata, May 17 (IBNS) Popular Bengali soap 'Ichhe Nodi' actor Vikram Chatterjee is also turning up in an upcoming thriller in Bengali which also co-stars actor-director Anjan Dutta.

"My next big feature film is Saheb Bibi Aur Ghulam by journalist-director Pratim D Gupta which is an out and out thriller. I am working with a heavyweight director-actor Anjan Dutt here," Vikram tells IBNS on the sidelines of The Edutainment Show in a city hotel.

"Ziku is the name of my character and you will be surprised by Ziku. He is pivotal to unraveling the whole mystery. Rest I cannot disclose now," he says.

When asked if Ichhe Nodi, aired on Star Jalsha, marked the second innings of his career, after Elar Char Adhyay and few small budget Tollywood films and a reality show, Bikram says, "I don't fathom why people give the tag of second innings or third innings.

"For me, my innings started ever since Saat Pake Badha happened and it continues till date," he says.

Bickram attributes the success of Ichhe Nodi to fresh concept, well-written story line and balanced characterization.

"In each and every field of art there has been change. In television and also in films. And if you talk about TV it's a mixed bag of contents now as the audience type has changed. It's a different kind of audience than in past," he says.

Vikram, mobbed by young girls at the biggest career-counsel show for students in The Park, says he loves being recognised as the character of Ichhe Nodi at times but at the end of day it is the product which matters.

Miss Universe India 2010 winner Ushoshi Sengupta, was among the other speakers at the Unique Design Careers & Sharing Personal Journeys session of the Edutainment show.
