Chennai, June 25 (IBNS): Trailer of upcoming southern movie, featuring superstar Dhanush, VIP 2 has been released by its makers.

Unveiling the trailer, actor Dhanush tweeted: "trailer of a franchise that's very close 2 my #VIP2.Tamil Trailer - https://youtu.be/rfJqdfUzz3g  Telugu Trailer - https://youtu.be/qecBCwtjBwE."


Velaiilla Pattadhari 2, popularly referred to as VIP 2, is an upcoming Indian Tamil-languageaction-comedy-drama film directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth.

A sequel to Velaiilla Pattadhari (2014), the film has Dhanush, Amala Paul, Saranya Ponvannan and Samuthirakani returning from the first film, other cast including Kajol. Dhanush, besides acting, is also co-producing the film and has written the story and dialogues for the film.

Meanwhile, Kajol shared the links which connected to the songs of the movie as she posted: "#VIP2 here we go! Tamil, Telugu and Hindi songs out now: bit.ly/VIP2Tamil  http://bit.ly/VIP2Telugu ."
