Filmmaker Karan Johar confirmed the figure as he tweeted: "GRAND INDIA TOTAL OF 121 crores NET!!!!! HINDI IS 41 crores!!! TAMIL + TELUGU + MALAYALAM = 80 crores!!!! HISTORY HAS BEEN CREATED!!!!!!"
