Beijing, July 21 (IBNS): International singing star Justin Beiber will not be allowed to perform in China due to 'bad behaviour', as per Beijing's Culture Bureau.

The Bureau said: "First of all, thank you for your interest in Beijing's cultural work and support! We are looking back at the situation reflected in your letter. First of all, to express your feelings expressed understanding. Justin Bieber is a singing talented but also a controversial young foreign singer. It is understood that as a public figure, he had a series of bad behavior in the overseas social life and in the domestic performance activities caused public dissatisfaction."

" In order to standardize the domestic market order, clean up the performance of the market environment, it is not appropriate to introduce bad behavior of the performing arts. However, hope Justin Bieber in the process of growing up their own words and deeds, and truly become a favorite of the public singer. Thanks again for your understanding and support! Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture," it said.

The statement was posted on July 18.

The statement was issued in response to a question submitted by a user of the bureau's website.

A source at the Shanghai cultural authority, which approves concerts in that city, told CNN that it was unlikely that Shanghai would allow Bieber to perform there, given the decision Beijing has already made.
