Shah Rukh Khan visits Dilip Kumar's house to check health status

Mumbai, Aug 16 (IBNS): Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Tuesday paid a visit to legendary actor Dilip Kumar' house six days after the latter's discharge from hospital.

Dilip Kumar, who was suffering from ill-health, discharged from hospital on last Wednesday.

He was undergoing treatment in Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital for several days.

Actress Saira Banu, who is also wife of Dilip Kumar, informed about Khan's visit to their place.

Saira Banu shared several pictures of Khan's visit on Dilip Kumar's Twitter account.

She also left a message to the first tweet posted which reads: "Message from Saira Banu: Sahab's mooh-bola beta-"son" @iamsrk visited Sahab today. Sharing some photos of the evening."

In a follow up tweet, Khan was seen to be with the legendary actor and also kissing the latter in one of the pictures. Dilip Kumar's second tweet reads: "@iamsrk visited Sahab this evening. Sahab's doing much better since return from the hospital. Shukar Allah."

Khan is known to be extremely close to Kumar. Both of them acknowledge each other as father-son.

Dilip Kumar is known for his performance in movies like Devdas'and 'Mughal-e-Azam'.

He had received the  Padma Vibhushan in 2015.
