Militants kill cop in south south Kashmir

Srinagar, July 26 (IBNS): Suspected militants shot dead a policeman in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday evening, officials said.

According to senior police officer , Gowhar Ahmad Tantray, was on his motorcycle, when militants opened fire on him near the Kanjikulla bridge in Kulgam.

Investigations are on in the case and a manhunt has been launched for the militants.
