Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017 to take place from Feb 1-5 at JioGarden

Mumbai/Kolkata, Jan 11 (IBNS): Lakmé Fashion Week announces dates and a new venue for its Summer/Resort 2017 edition. Block your calendars from Feb 1 to 5 as Lakmé Fashion Week is all set to take the leap to JioGarden, Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai.

As Lakmé Fashion Week continually evolves into a platform to nurture fashion in India it has not only grown in stature but also in size. The move to JioGarden offers a wider canvas for the event presenting it in a brand new look and feel.

Jaspreet Chandok, Head-Fashion, IMG Reliance Ltd said, “The move to JioGarden reaffirms our commitment to the business of fashion with a larger area for buyers and designers to interface. Everything this season will be bigger and further push the boundaries of what a fashion event can achieve.”

Purnima Lamba, Head of Fashion, Lakmé said “At Lakme Fashion Week, we aim to reinvent the platform every season. This Summer/Resort 2017 edition, we are taking it to an innovative venue at BKC. At JioGarden, we intend to use the open expanse to bring alive a whole new fashion week experience.”

JioGarden is one of the most premium outdoor venues in the heart of Mumbai.
