Want to make KPC Medical College a world-class centre: Chairman K.P. Chaudhuri

Kolkata: Kolkata's KPC Medical College on Thursday hosted its 16th Foundation Day when its chairman K.P. Chaudhuri expressed hope of expanding the institute and making it a world-class center in the future.

"We want to further expand this medical college and make it a world-class centre,"  K.P. Chaudhuri said.

Speaking on the students passing out from the college, he said: "Those who have already graduated from our institute, have reached good heights. Many of them have made a name for themselves in other countries of Europe and in America as well”.

"We want to serve our patients and ensure that our students get wonderful opportunities and a fruitful environment while studying here," he said.

Swami Jitendriyananda Maharaj, also known as Dilip Maharaj, of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, orthopedic surgeon Indrajit Sardar, Bengali film industry actress Tanusree Chakraborty, were among others who attended the event.
