Hyderabad, May 6 (UNI) People in Hyderabad and its twin Secunderabad experienced unbearably hot weather for the second consecutive day on Monday even as heat wave conditions persisted in parts of Telangana.

People mostly preferred to stay indoors to avoid the blazing sun and streets and shopping areas in the twin cities were bereft of the usual sights and sounds because of the sultry weather.

The temperature in the city hovered around 41 deg c., while Khammam recorded the highest 45.2 deg c.

The weather office has forecasted that heat wave conditions will continue for the next 24 hours in parts of the state.
