Moderate earthquake hits J&K, no casualty
Srinagar, Apr 18 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter Scale hit Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, officials said.
As per the IMD website, the epicentre of the quake was located at latitude 33.8 degrees north and longitude 76.6 degrees east, at a depth of 33 kms.
The IMD called the intensity of the quake as 'moderate'.
The quake was felt at 10:41 hours.
No casualty or loss of property has been reported so far.
