Maharashtra: Thane register 1134 new Covid-19 cases
Thane/UNI: With 1134 new cases in the last 24 hours, a tally has spiked to 2,76,586 in Thane district, an official said on Monday.
While, five death cases were registered,with this a number of fatalities have reached to 6337.
The mortality rate was 2.29 per cent, he added.
So far, 2,60,931 patients have recuperated from the infection, which took the recovery rate to 94.34 per cent. There were 9,318 active cases in the district at present, the official said.
In neighboring Palghar district, the COVID-19 case count has gone up to 46,709 while the death toll was 1,207 he said.
