Maharashtra reports 550 new Covid-19 cases

Mumbai/UNI: Maharashtra has recorded 550 new Covid-19 cases and 3 coronavirus-related deaths, as per health bulletin on Friday.

The state’s cumulative case tally now stands at 81,17,574 and the overall toll went up to 1,48,322.

A total of 749 patients were discharged taking the overall count of recoveries to 79,65,395.

The state's recovery rate stands at 98.11 per cent and fatality rate at 1.82 per cent.

As of now 3,857 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals, the bulletin added.

In Marathwada region, 30 positive patients were reported including 12 cases from Osmanabad district, 10 cases in Latur, 4 cases in Jalna, 2 cases in Aurangabad and a single case each in Hingoli and Nanded districts, the bulletin said.
