Maharashtra reports 128 fresh Covid-19 cases and 6 deaths

Aurangabad/Mumbai/UNI: Maharashtra reported 128 fresh cases of Covid-19 cases and six virus related deaths, according to a health bulletin on Friday.

With the addition of these new cases, the state's cumulative case tally has surged to 78,74,818 and the death toll has gone up to 1,47,806.

Meanwhile, 159 patients were cured and discharged during the day across the state, taking the overall count of recoveries to 77,26,159.

The state's recovery rate significantly came down to 98.11% and fatality rate 1.87%.

Presently, 828 active patients were undergoing treatment in different hospitals across the state, the bulletin added.

Marathwada region of state reported only two new positive cases in Beed district.

In the remaining seven districts no new Covid case was reported, the bulletin further added.
