India reports 1,225 COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

New Delhi/IBNS: India reported 1,225 new COVID-19 cases while the toll went up by 28 in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Thursday.

In the same period of time, 1,594 COVID-19 patients have recovered.

The recovery rate has further improved to 98.76%.

The active cases now account for 0.03% of the total number of cases.

Under the national vaccination drive, 184.06 crore anti-COVID-19 vaccine doses were administered across 36 states and union territories so far.
