India registers 9102 daily COVID-19 cases, lowest since June

New Delhi: India recorded the lowest daily count of COVID-19 cases since June as the country witnessed  9,102 fresh cases in the past 24 hours, as per the Ministry of Health released data on Tuesday.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 1,06,76,838.

India has been witnessing a slow decline in daily COVID-19 cases for the past several days.

In the past 24 hours, the country also witnessed 117 deaths due to the virus.

The death toll due to the virus now stands at 153587.

So far, 10345985 people have been discharged.

There are 177266 active cases in the country at present.
