India registers 37,379 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours, Omicron tally reaches 1892

New Delhi: India, a nation which has witnessed a massive rise in cases in recent times, registered 37,379 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday.

India's active caseload currently stands at 1,71,830.

Country's active cases account for less than 1 percent of total cases.

It now stands at 0.49 percent.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 98.13 percent.

11,007 recoveries were recorded in the last 24 hours.

India's Omicron tally now stands at 1892.
