India registers 30,941 new COVID-19 cases, 350 deaths

New Delhi: India registered 30,941 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday.

During the same period, 350 people died due to the disease.

Active cases account for 1.13 percent of total cases.

India's Active caseload stands at 3,70,640.

Recovery Rate currently at 97.53 percent.

During the last 24 hours, 36,275 recoveries were recorded.

Daily positivity rate reported to be 2.22 percent.

India witnessed a deadly second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic when people gasped for oxygen supply and hospital beds.

The spike in deaths left crematoriums and burial grounds overwhelmed.
