India registers 1,150 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hrs

New Delhi/IBNS: India registered 1,150 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry reported on Sunday.

The country's active caseload currently stands at 11,558, which is 0.03 per cent.

The recovery rate is presently at 98.76 per cent with 954 recoveries registered in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Delhi Saturday reported 461 new Covid-19 cases, 26 per cent more than Friday, registering a positivity rate of 5.33 per cent.

The national capital also reported two deaths during the 24-hour period, government data showed.

A total of 186.51 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
