India logs 10,273 Covid cases, 243 deaths in last 24 hrs

New Delhi/UNI: A total of 10,273 more people tested positive for Covid-19 in India, the Union Health Ministry said on Sunday.

With this, the total caseload rose to 4,29,16,117, while the death toll rose to 5,13,724 as 243 more people succumbed to the disease.

On the other hand, 20,439 people recovered from the disease, taking the total tally of recoveries to 4,22,90,921.

The recovery rate currently stands at 98.54 per cent while the active caseload stands at 1,11,472, the figures showed.

So far 76.67 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done across the country. India has administered 177.44 crore doses of the Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive.
