India clocks 84332 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India recorded 84,332 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the lowest daily count in the last 70 days, data released by the Ministry of Health revealed on Saturday.

India's Active Caseload declines to less than 11 lakhs (10,80,690) after 63 days.

Active Cases decrease by 40,981 in last 24 hours.

So far, 2,79,11,384 total recoveries have been recorded across the country.

In the past 24 hours, 1,21,311 patients recovered from the disease.

"Recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases for the 30th consecutive day," read the statement issued by the Ministry of Health.

Recovery Rate increases to 95.07%.

Weekly Positivity Rate drops to less than 5%, currently at 4.94%.

Daily positivity rate at 4.39%, less than 10% for 19 consecutive days.

Testing capacity substantially ramped up – 37.62 cr tests total conducted.

24.96 Cr. Vaccine Doses administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
