Mumbai, July 10 (IBNS): Normal life in Mumbai was disrupted as heavy rains lashed the city since Monday and left several areas waterlogged.

As rainwater accumulated on tracks, suburban trains services between Vasai and Virar near Mumbai have been suspended, announced Western Railway.

Western Railway tweeted: "Due to very heavy water accumulation in adjoining areas of Rly tracks & upto 200 mm water above rail level on rail lines at Nallasopara, train movement between Vasai Road - Virar is suspended till further information. Trains running from Churchgate-Vasai Road with delay. @drmbct."
