Heavy rain likely to occur in North Coastal AP, Telangana: Meteorological Centre

Hyderabad/UNI: Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next three days and in Telangana on Jul 19 and 20, Meteorological Centre said on Saturday.

In a bulletin here, it said that thunderstorms with lightning are likely to occur in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours and in Rayalaseema during the same period and on July 20.

Light to moderate rain or thunderstorms is likely to occur at many places or at a few places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days, the bulletin said.

Southwest Monsoon has been normal in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Rayalaseema and weak in Telangana during the last 24 hours.

Rainfall occurred at a few places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the same period, the bulletin added.
