COVID-19: India's daily positivity rate touches 17.22 percent

New Delhi: India registered  3,37,704 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, witnessing a rise in daily positivity rate to 17.22 percent, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Saturday.

Meanwhile, during the same period, 488 people died due to the deadly virus.

India's Active caseload currently stands at 21,13,365

Active cases stand at 5.43 percent.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 93.31 percent.

During the past 24 hours, 2,42,676 people recovered from the disease.

The total number of Omicron cases in the country now stands at 10,050.
