Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals commemorates World Stroke Day

On the occasion, actor Parambrata Chatterjee released a special brochure and video on Stroke Awareness and its Prevention.

Jayanta Roy, Senior Consultant Neurologist & Stroke specialist, Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals was also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Rupali Basu, CEO, Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals and Eastern Region, Apollo Hospitals, India said, “The primary reason behind us commemorating various health days is to create as much awareness as we can on various diseases and disorders and their subsequent treatment. Medical advances have greatly improved survival rates from stroke treatments during the last decade. However the chances of survival are even better if the stroke is identified and treated immediately.”
