6.3 earthquake hits Japan
Tokyo, Dec 28 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter Scale hit Japan on Wednesday, officials said.
As per the Japan Meteorological Agency website, the earthquake hit Ibaraki-ken Hokubu region in the country.
The epicentre of the quake was located at latitude 36.7 degrees north and longitude 140.6 degrees east and at a depth of 10 kms, as per the website.
No casualty has been reported so far.
