Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals observes 'Infection Control Week'

Kolkata, May 10 (IBNS): Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals concluded a week long 'Infection Control Week' in Kolkata on Saturday.

The initiative, which is observed every year by the hospital, is aimed at bringing in innovation and staff training in patient safety.

Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals Kolkata celebrated the Infection Control Week from May 5  to May 10.

Various training programs on Infection Control Practices were taken up during the week.

The organization also announced the 'Best Infection Control' and the 'Waste Management' wards.

Speaking on the occasion Rupali Basu, CEO, Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals said, "Apollo Gleneagles has always been the forerunner in bringing in new innovations and practices in the healthcare domain. Patient safety and well-being is and will be our primary motive at all times and we aim at excelling in the same through new procedures."
