India registers 46,232 new COVID-19 cases, 564 deaths in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India, one of the worst hit nations in the world, recorded  46,232 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health released data on Saturday.

The total number of cases in the country now stands at  90,50,598.

India also registered 564 deaths during the same period.

The death toll due to the highly infectious disease now stands at 1,32,726.

There are 439747 active cases in the country at present.

So far, 8478124 people have been discharged.
