India registers 690 new COVID-19 deaths in 24 hours

New Delhi: India registered a single-day spike of 54,366 COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health said on Friday.

India recorded 690 new COVID-19 deaths during the same period.

There are 6,95,509 active cases in the country at present.

The country also witnessed 69,48,497 discharges of COVID-19 patients during the past 24 hours,
