Delhi registers 1300 fresh COVID cases in past 24 hrs

New Delhi/UNI: The National Capital on Sunday witnessed a spike of 1300 fresh infections in the past 24 hours, taking the city's overall case tally to 145427, the Health bulletin said here.

COVID recoveries in the past 24 hours were 1225, the state health bulletin added.

The recovery rate of capital at present stands at 89.79 per cent, as per government data.

Meanwhile active cases witnesses a slight rise in the past one day, with a spike of 62 such cases, and now stand at 10729.

Total number of recovered patients have now increased to 130587 across the city, the bulletin added.

The number of home isolation patients have slightly increased and are 5462 at present.

COVID fatalities in the city have now reached 4,111 so far, after 13 people lost their battle to the lethal virus, since Saturday.

Containment zones in the city at present are 472, while 1192082 tests have been conducted so far across the capital.
