7 dead of Swine flu in AP and Telengana

Hyderabad, Jan 20 (IBNS) Swine flu continued to afflict Andhra Pradesh and Telengana as 7 people died and 173 affected of the dreaded disease since January 1 with 25 fresh cases being reported on Tuesday.

The Indian Medical Association has issued a set of guidelines to tackle swine flu and made people aware of its symptoms. It urged the people not to neglect minor cases of fever with breathlessness.

Health Minister JP Nadda, however, said  there was no need to panic and directed officials to build stock of medicines for swine flu.

Swine Flu Co-ordinator at state-run Gandhi Hospital, Narasimhulu said 7 swine flu  patients died at the hospital since the new year's day. Of them two were from Hyderabad. At present 19 people were under treatment for the disease in the hospital.
