India reports 1,805 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours

New Delhi/UNI: India has registered 1,805 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total active case in the country at 10,300, as per the Health Ministry on Monday.

Six deaths have been reported due to Covid-19, as the total death toll reached 5,30,837.

Meanwhile, nine hundred and thirty two people have recovered during the same period, said the health Ministry.

The recovery rate is currently at 98.79 per cent.

In the last 24 hours, 932 cases have been recorded; the total recovered cases stood at 4,41,64,815.

The ministry said, 1743, vaccine doses of COVID have been administered during the last 24 hours under the nationwide vaccination drive.
So far, over 220. 65 crore vaccine doses were administered across the country.

Meanwhile, Union health secretary Rajesh Bhushan on Monday, will hold a meeting with states' health secretaries and senior officers to review Covid-19 preparedness as India continues to report a rise in coronavirus infections.
