India registers 14,917 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi/UNI: India registered 14,917 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said Monday.

According to the bulletin issued by the ministry, the total caseload rose to 4,42,68,349 while the overall toll rose to 5,27,037 as 32 more succumbed to the disease.

On the other hand, 14,238 people recuperated from the disease, taking the recovery to 4,36,23,804. The recovery rate stands at 98.54 per cent.

The active caseload stands at 1,17,508, the figures showed.

As per the bulletin, 88.04 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.

India has administered 208.25 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive.
