India records 1,829 COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India recorded 1,829 COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours as the daily positivity rate touched 0.42 percent, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.

During the same period, 33 people died due to the severe viral infection.

India's Active caseload currently stands at 15,647.

Active cases stand at 0.04 percent.

Recovery Rate currently at 98.75 percent.

2,549 people recovered from the virus during the same period.
