India registers 27,254 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India registered 27,254 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per the Ministry of Health released data on Monday.

Active cases account for 1.13% of total cases.

India's Active caseload stands at 3,74,269.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 97.54%.

Meanwhile, 37,687 recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours.

219 people died due to the virus in the past 24 hours.

There is a fear that India might soon witness a third wave of the pandemic with the festive season currently observed across the nation.
