4.2 magnitude earthquake hits Kashmir, no casualty

Srinagar, Aug 13 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter Scale hit Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, officials said.

According to India Meteriological Department website, the spicentre of the quake was located latitude 34.6 degrees north and longitude 77.8 degrees east.

It hit at a depth of 10 kms.

No casualty or damage to property has been reported so far.
