7.7 earthquake hits Chile
Santiago, Dec 25 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter Scale hit Chile on Sunday.
As per the United States Geological Survey (USGS) website, the epicentre of the quake was located at latitude 43.417 degrees South and longitutude 73.897 degrees West.
The depth of the quake was located at 33 kms.
No casualty has been reported so far.
The quake hit South- \Westof Puerto Quellon area in the country.
