Bengaluru, Oct 6 (IBNS) Sharing the platform with visiting German chancellor Angela Merkel, Prime Minister Narendra Modi at India's tech city Bengaluru said the software talents of India will rule the hardware of the world, urging Germany to be part of his "Make in India" slogan and invest here.
Both the leaders visited the Robert Bosch Engineering & Innovation Centre, Bengaluru and then participated in a business forum organised by   National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) & Frauenhofer Institute, Bengaluru.

Modi at the NASSCOM event said during a time of global slowdown, India represents a bright spot for investments.

"There is tremendous potential in India-Germany  economic collaboration," he said.

"We have expedited regulatory clearances including security and environmental clearance. We have taken very decisive steps to remove a number of long pending concerns of investors. We have fast tracked approvals and clearances for industry and infrastructure," he said.

"We are committed to creating favourable conditions for business and industry," he said.

He said his government has introduced the GST Bill in parliament and we are hopeful to roll it out in 2016 while across the board "we have increased the validity period of Industrial Licences,"

Such a huge potential for creation and production will not be available in any one country, said the PM.
