Sensex down by more 240 points

Mumbai, Mar 26 (IBNS) The BSE Sensex was down by more than 240 points as Indian market dropped sharply on Thursday.

At around 10:54 am, the BSE Sensex stood at 27864, down by 247.60 points.

The Nifty was down by 60.10 points to stand at 8471.
