Sensex closes below 25000-level

Mumbai, Sept 7 (IBNS): Crashing below the 25000 level, the BSE Sensex closed 308.09 points below on Monday.

It was for the first time in fifteen months that the BSE Sensex touched such a low point.

Ending 308.09 points down, the Sesex ended at 24893.81 points.

The Nifty on the other end closed 96.25 points below at 7558.80 points.
