Mumbai, July 8 (IBNS): A day when the Chinese stock market crashed, the Sensex closed 484 points below on Wednesday.

Down by 483.97 points, the Sensex closed at  27687.72 points.

The Nifty closed 147.75 points below at 8363.05 points.
