Sensex closes 265 points above, Nifty ends over 8500 points

Mumbai, July 15 (IBNS): The Sensex closed 265 points higher as the trading in the Indian market closed on Wednesday.

The Sensex stood at 28198.29 points, up by 265.39 points.

The Nifty closed  69.70 points up at 8523.80 points.
