Sachin Tendulkar launches Aviva Early Starters Initiative

Mumbai/New Delhi, July 20 (IBNS): Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar launched Aviva India's latest consumer connect initiative, Aviva Early Starters.

The central inspiration for the campaign came from Sachin, who has been Aviva India’s brand ambassador since 2007. At the launch, Sachin said that he was able to realise his big dream because he started early.

“I could start playing for India at 16 because I started preparing for it at 8. An early start led to early success and helped me reach far.  Now with the Aviva Early Starters initiative, I am looking to give an early start to children’s careers and turn their big dreams to reality,” Sachin said.

The Early Starters initiative will take forward Aviva India’s award-winning ‘What’s Your Big Plan’ campaign. Aviva India will provide 20 children an opportunity to live their dream profession for one day.

Rishi Piparaiya, Director, Marketing & Direct Sales, Aviva Life Insurance said, “Aviva India is committed to help children realise their big dreams. Our ‘What’s Your Big Plan’ campaign was highly successful in capturing these dreams. Now through our Aviva Early Starters initiative, we want to enable children to live their dreams. We have an eminent panel of mentors who will help these children experience their dream profession and inspire them to secure their big dreams.”

While Sachin will be the chief mentor for these children, renowned personalities like Dr Naresh Trehan, chef Kunal Kapur, fashion designers Shantanu & Nikhil, RJ Naved and artist Alka Raghuvanshi will also be a part of the Early Starters mentorship programme.

The initiative will be taken up over the next six weeks in New Delhi, Kolkata, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai and Chennai. Aviva India has tied up with premier brands like Croma, Landmark, Pizza Hut, mycityforkids.com, The Leela and Medanta to reach out to children with big dreams. Radio Mirchi is the media partner for this initiative.

Parents can be a part of this initiative by filling nomination forms at a partner outlet or on their mobiles by sending an SMS ‘Early’ to 56070 or logging on to www.avivaindia.com
