Rail Budget: PM Modi congratulates Suresh Prabhu
New Delhi, Feb 25 (IBNS) Congratulating Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu for presenting the Rail Budget, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the current budget will help improving and developing the nation.
Modi said: "Want to congratulate Suresh Prabhu and the entire Team Railway."
"In the last year we have seen lot of success and this budget is an effort to further improve on this," Modi said.
"Along with IT, investment has been given importance," he said.
"This budget will enhance the Navnirman of the nation," Modi said.
Giving relief to millions of users, railway fare was not increased in the Union Railway Budget 2016-17 that was presented by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu in the Parliament on Thursday.
